Dental bridges and bondings

Background/ situation: The patient was unhappy with the appearance of her previous bridges. She did not want to do implants.

Solution: We recommended replacing her existing bridges with new ones and placing a few composite bondings that would bring fullness and uniformity to her smile.

Bonded Bridges

Background /Situation: The patient has lost her lower front tooth due to gum disease. She is very conscious about her smile and missing tooth and she requested “something” that does not come in and out of her mouth.

Solution: As lower front teeth are very small in size and delicate in shape, we recommended, so called, Maryland Bridge that nicely bonds to adjacent teeth and, at the same time, saves precious tooth structure, minimizes a risk of future need for nerve treatment as well as blends nicely with remaining dentition.

Oral rehabilitation of entire mouth (composite bondings and porcelain crowns)

Background/Situation: Daughter brought in her elderly mother that was self conscious about her teeth and smile. The mother did not want to smile and wanted something that would serve for a long time . At the same time, both her daughter and she requested treatment that is not too costly as well as not too lengthy.

Solution: We took into consideration the patient age, health status and her desires. Her dentition was in dire need of complete reconstruction but we decided to fabricate one short bridge in her upper arch on the left side. The rest of the teeth were restored with composite bonding so that the cost could be contained and her desires met.
